RJL is a Jungle & Wildlife Safari Lodge, situated barely 30 Kms from the City of Bhopal, on the fringes of the upcoming Ratapani Tiger Reserve, 200 meters from the Kolar Dam. Perched amidst beautiful and dense teak forests, an area inhabited by Tiger, Leopards, Wildcats, Sloth-bears Foxes, Hyenas, Deer and Languors, RJL offers itself to its guests as a quiet and quaint Jungle Lodge, spread over the edge of a cliff, overlooking the Kolar Reservoir and the beautiful Ratapani Jungles, in the valley below.

Cradled in the Vindhyachal Mountain Ranges, passing through Raisen and Sehore Districts of Madhya Pradesh, Ratapani Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the most fascinating
abodes for a wide variety of wildlife.
The sanctuary runs parallel on the northern side of Narmada River. Kolar River forms the western boundary of the Sanctuary.
The sanctuary was first notified in 1976 and then extended in 1983. The Sanctuary remains unique in many ways, as it is not just the best Flora and Fauna of the
Central India, with spectacular Teak Forests, beautiful hills and meandering rivers, sustaining
the rich biodiversity, round the year, but it also has many natural and archeological spenders
to offer to its visitors. There are spectacles a many, as one drives into the forests, with never a
dull moment.

River Trekking & camping
A free flowing River, gushing away in all its glory, winding its way down the Vindhyachal Hills, through the dense Ratapani Forest, lovely cool breeze, full of jungle freshness, clear blue sky and the wonderful winter sun, it all adds up to a dream getaway. This is a trekking trail, full of excitement and spectacularly breathtaking views every step of the way. Nowhere else can one witness a panorama, so diverse, so colorful and so vast in expanse, so clear and unrestricted in view, as far as the eye can see.Almost the entire trek is along the face of a cliff, with a comfortable & clear trail, along the forest and can range from 4 to 10 km, depending on what one desires to do, or the endurance level and has the option of the walk downhill, to the river. The commencement point of the trek is about 10 km from the Lodge, which is a 45 min drive by a 4X4 Gypsy, un-navigable otherwise, tucked away, hidden deep inside the forest, an approach not frequented by anyone other than the local dwellers, jungle hamlets.
All in all, a one can be assured of a memorable day, out in the wild, full of excitement and fun.
